Since we didn't have family that could come celebrate with us we decided to get creative in what we would do for Mellie's birthday. First we went to McDonalds because Mellie LOVES french fries. Then we filled the livingroom with balloons and streamers. We strung all the streamers at her eye level so she could play with them. As you can see from the picture she made quick work of all the streamers! Then Jared connected the computer to the tv and we did a video call to grandma and cassie so they could sing happy birthday with us. By the end we were singing really slow because the lag made us seem like we weren't together so we each kept slowing down to catch up with the other! Finally Mellie blew out her candles (after four or five tries:P) and she licked all the frosting off the cake! I'm sure she'll never remember it, but it was fun anyway!

Mellie's CRAZY Party!
