This morning the door bell rang and there was a huge bouquet of flowers waiting for me when I opened the door. I didn't think Jared could have possibly remembered. I really only expect him to remember our wedding anniversary since he's really not very good at dates, but this year he also managed to remember the anniversary of the day we were sealed. In the ten years we've been together he's only sent me flowers three times so this was kind of a big deal for me! Not only did he send flowers, but he asked them to put lilies and butterflys in it. Lilies were the flower in my bouquet and I just love butterflys! Then he tried to set up a sitter all on his own so we could go to the temple tonight. That part didn't quite work out, but the fact that he tried was enough for me! I just had to share pics of the beautiful flowers! I love you babe!

Halloween
It took me a few days to get up the energy to do this post. The last few weeks have been more than a little crazy!
This clown costume was one my mom made for me when I was little so it was fun for Melody to be able to wear it too! Jared did a really good job on her make-up. She was SO excited to be a clown. She kept telling me how she wanted to make people laugh and shove a pie in their face lol!
Jared asked for a smile and this is what he got lol!
She insisted on having a flower on her cheek when I did her make-up for the preschool parties, and I was terrible at it! Good thing dad's a little better at drawing!
I think she made a beautiful princess. I hope they get good use out of that tutu because I will never be making another one! That tulle is terrible stuff to work with!
The kids were so wired when we got home from the trunk-r-treat that we had to let them play for a while to unwind. Jared never passes up a chance to rough house, even with a princess!
He never passes up a chance to wear a crown either lol! He's such a good girl dad!

Disappointment
See this little piece of cuteness?
I slaved over it for at least an hour, was SO excited about how cute it was turning out, finished it up, tried to put it on her...her head is too big! I mean really! I have to go up a size to accommodate her large noggin! I never in my life thought that would be a reason I would need to go up a size. I'm going back to get another shirt since they were only $3 and I'm trying again! Hope fully I can find another black shirt while I'm there. In case you were wondering I used this pattern. Super cute and super easy!

So grown up!
We got a package from Grandma Taly today full of dresses for Melody. I couldn't believe how grown up she looked! She's definitely not a toddler anymore! Thanks Grandma, she was in desperate need of dresses that are long enough!
And of course there was stuff for Katie! She is pretty much always coloring or drawing. She has a little notebook she carries around with her so she can draw where ever she goes. Since she got her new coloring book from 'gama ta-ee' she carries it around instead!

Halloween Dresses
Love, love, LOVE this fabric! Had to make dresses for our trip to the pumpkin patch today! Unfortunately I got better pictures after we got home with them just playing on the stairs than I did in the cute pumpkin fields. Rotten monsters!
